Robots and prototyping the Cubby House

The team has been busy refining our design for the 2017 Kids Under Cover Cubby House Challenge. Our goal is to design a cubby like no other by using advanced 3D printing and modelling technology to create a form.

As part of the 3D printing process this week we started working with RMIT University d_Lab to make a prototype of the design. The robot has been busy doing speed and temperature test prints with the plastic from Plasgroup that we intend to use on our cubby house.

We will be sharing the final design and concept with you in the new year, but until then check out this sneak peek from the lab this week. We think you will agree the results are pretty cool!
