Last Friday we had an Insight with a difference as we rolled out the red carpet squares for the first ever FMSA Short Film Fest.
The FMSA Insight team set the challenge to FMSA staffers to create a short film no more than 2 minutes long with some great results. The rules were simple – feature the key prop (an FMSA hard hat) and the theme (North Melbourne).
On the popcorn filled premiere night held in the auspicious Kogan Theatre (aka the FMSA boardroom) we had entries from a whole range of film genres including romance, art house, comedy, binge eating, horror and we even had a talking dog.
After the votes were counted the winner of the coveted mini Oscar was FMSA architect Neil Zimmerman with his entry Coffee?
A big thank you goes out to the Insight organisers Jess and Neil, chief technical guru Jonny and all the staffers that entered for making it one of our most fun and successful Insights to date.
For those that missed the fun that was the 2011 FMSA Short Film Fest you can view a selection of the entries on our Vimeo channel over here.
