FMSA, in conjunction with Melbourne landscape architect Paul Hamilton, were invited to create “a forest in the city” for Pujiang Town south of Shanghai.
Officially known as the Large Scale Woodland development, the EcoWood project establishes a framework of ideas for planning the first 10km sq. stage of a green area development spread over a 60km sq. site on the eastern bank of the Huangpu River and designed to provide the city with a “green lung.”
