Masterplanning

In 2011 FMSA was engaged by East Gippsland Shire Council to conduct a review of the Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park and produce a masterplan and report focusing on the direction of future development of the Park for the next 10+ years.

Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park (The Park) is approximately 29ha of crown land on approximately 2km of Mallacoota Lake foreshore coastline. The Council run facility operates all year round and is directly linked to the prosperity of Mallacoota, currently providing 81% of all camping sites in Mallacoota.

The Masterplan process focussed on identifying the issues and opportunities for the Park, integrating key business and planning requirements, resulting in an analysis of all aspects of future planning that may affect The Park.

A key part aspect of the masterplanning process was gathering and integrating community feedback into the final outcome. FMSA worked with Council to conduct several community review sessions, questionnaires and presentations throughout the process.
