We are excited to share our latest completed project for the Department of Environment, Water, Land & Planning (DELWP) – the DELWP Corryong Airbase.
FMSA Architecture was engaged by DELWP as Principal Consultants to design facilities to support the establishment of a permanent fire bombing & support facility at Corryong Airport on land owned by Towong Shire Council.
The new $1.5m DELWP Corryong Airbase facilities include a multipurpose building comprising communications/operations room, staff kitchen, amenities, & briefing area. Support infrastructure includes a new retardant mixing shed, concrete hardstands for filling and refueling, taxiway expansion & site security improvements.
“FMSA provided a high level of service throughout the duration of the project and ensured that the facility was accurately documented on time and built within budget expectations. Although based in Melbourne FMSA demonstrated an understanding of local conditions and were prepared to attend site when required. I would not hesitate to recommend FMSA for similar projects.”
